The staff at this Alliston Vet clinic are super friendly and informative. They take gentle care of your pet and are very helpful in explaining everything about test results, without rushing you or making you feel pressured. I’ve had a great experience in my two visits .
I do like the actual vets in the clinic. But last week I called when my dog was having some kind of seizure. They would not even consider seeing the dog. I didn’t call at closing time it was the middle of the day. They told me to drive to emerg in Barrie. Or call Boyne vet office and they might be able to see the dog. Not happy that the person who answered the phone was so UNCARING!!!!!!!!!
Our dog Boston has been going to this vet for almost 5 years. the last few years especially, we haven't been satisfied with the services we have received. just about a year and a half ago, we went in for a routine checkup and I asked to have his knees checked specifically for his ligaments (Boston was prone to knee problems) I was reassured that everything was okay, however, not even one week later Boston was on 3 legs, I called the vet upset and asked them to recheck Boston to see what was wrong with him considering he was just in for a check up, and they were happy to take him in for another vet check up fee. Also, our dog has been prone to ear and eye infections constantly, and every single time we needed more medication, instead of just giving us the medication we are use to giving him and asking for, we would need to book and pay for an inspection just to finally be given the ear wash that we were asking for to begin with. One of the last times we went in ( I believe is was Dr. Clarkson) administered an eye test for his eye infection, the same one he had maybe 6-8 months ago, again to be given the drops we know would work. Lastly, we found some concerning lumps and the SOONEST we could be seen was around 2 and a half weeks... that was the final straw we took Boston to another vet and found out it was cancer after waiting ONE DAY and we only had 7 weeks with him. I'm very happy we didn't just wait the 2 weeks. It's really unfortunate because everyone there is very friendly and the building is nice and clean and from the outside everything is very nice. But when I feel like I'm being milked for every possible dime, and having to wait an extremely long time to just get in, I wouldn't want to recommend this vet to any body else.
First impressions are important. Especially when you're running a business. My first impression wasn't great. My spouse emailed 2 weeks ago asking for pricing for my 5 month old kitten needing a booster shot. I found out today, in person, that they left out vital information in that email. They're not taking new patients, and haven't been since June. To my confusion, one of the nurses was speaking as if I should have known this. I wouldn't have driven to the clinic if I had known. It was a strange encounter. I'm sure the people who work here are lovely, but it was disheartening. I hope you're able to do better for others going forward.

I've been taking my dogs to Dr Parker. She is an awesome vet. I also had to put my best friend down and dr parker and her staff were so amazing. They showed so much empathy and were supportive . Thanks
Rushed my dog over thinking he had bloat since he was dry heaving, told me that they "weren't familiar with bloat and can't help me without an appointment". Bloat kill's dogs in minutes, told me to "go to Barrie for an emergency or make an appointment" a thirty minute drive away he would of been dead for twenty five minutes by the time I got there -_-. New Vet for me.
