I placed an order 2 days in advance and received confirmation that the store received the order yet I show up and I’m told that there’s no order on record. I call the store and am basically told that I need to wait to hear back from a manager. Not impressed at all. Follow Up - the owner personally called me to explain a current issue that they have been experiencing and was quick to resolve the issue in person. His quick action and personal touch has renewed my faith in small business here in Alliston.
I’ve ordered many pizzas in the Barrie and Newmarket franchises and love them!.. BUT I was visiting my daughter in ALLISTON and ordered thru Uber eats APP as it’s the only way they will deliver although they use their OWN delivery driver. An hour and a half went by so I called inquiring about my pizza, only to be told it will arrive in a minute. Pizzaiolo ALLISTON called back within 1 minute and I was told he left it at the front door of my home a while ago..He left it on the cement porch. He didn’t knock, didn’t ring the doorbell just left it sitting on the ground in ZERO Degree weather! The pizza was literally stone cold! I specifically wrote on the delivery instructions”Meet at the door”!! They claimed they didn’t have that on the order and that they will NEVER ring the doorbell! They WILL NEVER RING THE DOORBELL? What? ……Also I might add that on the app it still said order still in progress!! The manager would not replace the pizza. My husband called back and eventually they sent another pizza after much “talking”. I’m not sure who runs this particular establishment , but not only is the customer service and delivery service unacceptable but the quality of pizza and taste is below average to say the least! It used to be a very good pizza but I can honestly say it was terrible. I threw the pizza out. I hope this is not the new norm for every pizziolo. Wish I had taken a picture of the pizza before I tossed it! Maybe the raccoons will enjoy it! It was garbage so I’m sure they did! I would also like to add my place of work has ordered a many a pizza from pizziolo NEWMARKET Franchise and have always been pleased with the service and product, but this has left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) and will be rethinking my loyalty. Very disappointing.
Upon my first visit I thought it audacious to make customers pay over $6 for a slice of pizza. If you get a whole pizza it'll be around $11. Eventually on another visit I paid for a slice (it was one with toppings I don't like) and I'd say -in my opinion- it's worth the $6 the crust is amazing! the sauce is everything!!! The owner/s know exactly what they're doing! If you want a decent slice or whole pizza come here.
Pizzailo Alliston is a must-visit! Friendly staff, amazing crust, and toppings that hit the spot. Whether it’s a slice or their lasagna, everything’s made with care. Five stars, no doubt.
Wow, I’m so impressed with this place. Absolutely lives up to its rating. I’m new to the area and have been trying as many new pizza places as I can. All I got was a couple slices to go (one slice is massive fyi) and it way exceeded my expectations. Crust was very crisp, sauce was fresh and tangy, tasted more like a real tomato sauce vs tomato paste. Toppings were high quality and excellent. The hot honey might be my new favourite pizza. The staff were very friendly, the place was clean and to top it off the prices were super reasonable. I will definitely be coming back and ordering a whole pizza.
We really enjoyed the first couple times we tried the pizza here and were excited about the place. The quality is good and the pizza overall is decent but you realize you're paying a bit more for finely minced and loosely sprinkled toppings. What's the point? Pizzaville costs about the same and you get more cheese. The customer service is hit or miss.
Pizzaiolo is the home of the best pizza. I love the variety of choices- whole wheat, vegan, gluten-free and the quality and quantity of the toppings are always great. I’ve been ordering from this location for a long time, and they’ve always been consistent. The people here genuinely care, including the owner. I had a small issue once, and the owner personally looked into it and fixed it. Truly appreciate that kind of service.
