I’m absolutely obsessed with this place - the atmosphere, decor, and the margaritas (especially the El Fuego/spicy marg). The staff and bartenders are so knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. One of the girls even walked us through the different types of tequila - such a fun experience… The food is always great, but it’s the team and margs that keep us coming back. An absolute staple every time we’re in Alliston.
Popped into Taqueria El Norte in Alliston without a reservation, and wow, we lucked out snagging a seat—this place was absolutely rammed! The atmosphere was buzzing, lively, and full of energy, making it a fun spot to dine. The real star, though, was the food. Their tacos were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic taste that hit all the right spots. Service kept up with the busy crowd, and we felt well taken care of. Highly recommend making a reservation to avoid the wait, but if you’re craving top-notch tacos in a vibrant setting, Taqueria El Norte is a must-visit!
This place is legit! Wife said it was the best margarita she ever had. Staff very nice, too. 1 hour into a 12 hour drive we took a 2 hour lunch here. ??
I had the absolute best time tonight! Jay was an amazing server! so attentive. The food and drinks were beyond delicious, and the whole vibe made my Friday night perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful evening! ✨
I've been coming here for quite some time but truthfully I came in the other night and there was a new server and truthfully it was the worst experience I've had here and at dinner in quite some time. The server was clearly lost between her tables. She took about 10-15 minutes to greet us and was just not present at all while we were there. It's so sad to have this experience as I've loved coming here in the past but truthfully I wouldn't want to experience this level of lacking customer service ever again.
This used to be a favourite of mine but there’s been a big attitude switch in staff this past year. We also haven’t been able to order over the phone or in person for the past 6 months. Either “too busy” or “unable to do takeout after 5” even if the restaurant is half empty. Pretty upsetting.
