A true gem of a spot! Had the tomato soup and biscuit today, sooooo delicious. Also the Black Forest cupcake, you just have to try it for yourself. And the new seating area is perfection!! Those pine floors.
So not only does Bake My Day still do there 'best in the world ever!' custard tarts, they now do amazing coffee to sit there and enjoy it with in their new coffee shop expansion!

What an adorable little bakery. I heard about there delicious butter tarts and they did not disappoint. It’s nice to see a place that employees all types of people with different abilities. It was an absolute pleasure to be served by Hannah and I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. I definitely suggest if you are in New Tecumseth to stop at this bakery. Here are some of the wonderful cakes I ordered and they are delicious.
When we entered, and looked around, the staff asked what can I get you. We said we just looked around. The staff all of sudden, stop smiling. I asked what is the popular menu? The staff rudely said ‘no popular menu’. That is it. No additional explanation or words. and just stared at me. I was kinda shocked what to say..she sounded like she does not want to sell any bakeries to me. I asked again ‘ no popular menu at all?’ She said ‘No’. That is it. No any additional words. And made me feel like I had to leave the store. I am not sure it is because I am not from this town, or I speak broken english. But as a customer I really felt disrespected and her rudeness. I do not want to visit here again, and dont want to see the staff even on the streets accidentally. All the ppl from the restaurants and cafes in New Tecumseth were so friendly and nice, they all made my day special so far until entering this bakery store. The staff totally ruined my mood and memories of New tecumseth.
A quaint little bakery.....yes I said BAKERY! Not a fakery....food is made on site from simple ingredients by the talented and friendly staff. Victoria, the owner, will even make and decorate cakes if you need. Absolutely delicious food. Everything from the butter tarts to the sausage rolls. They even have some products thst are prepared and then frozen for convenience. Worth the drive to Alliston! (DECEMBER 2025 UPDATE....They have opened a cafe beside the bakery! They have excellent, full bodied coffee and sandwiches. I had a breakfast sandich and it was excellent. Victoria and the staff are friendly, busy hard working people! They make excellent food.)
I have placed 2 orders recently at Bake My Day. A Black Forest Cake, Pumpkin Pie and Coconut Cream Pie. All were absolutely amazing! You must check them out ASAP!
